On a lovely late-summer Friday, the long-awaited Coliving Conference took place, transforming B. Amsterdam into a stunning conference venue. This international conference drew coliving experts, professionals, and enthusiasts from all over the world to the Dutch capital for a day of sharing knowledge, discussing the latest trends, and exploring the countless opportunities within the coliving sector.
The Coliving Conference kicked off with a delicious cup of coffee specially brewed by our barista and a fresh muffin. In The Wiechert , the day began with an opening address. Later in the day, the doors of The Richard and The Muhammad opened their doors for inspiring keynote speeches by some of the industry’s leading figures. Speakers shared their insights, experiences, and visions on how coliving can transform the way we live.

9:00 – 10:00: barista-made coffee, tea, water, a muffin, and cookies
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: presentations,
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Lunch, gourmet sandwiches, salads, and dessert
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: networking break,“snack attack package”: one hour of unlimited drinks, bitterballen, cheese sticks, and appetizers
6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: awards ceremony, 1-hour all-you-can-drink Dutch beverage package

After the inspiring morning sessions, participants could choose from a variety of engaging presentations and panel discussions. These sessions, led by experts, gave participants the opportunity to delve deeper into specific topics within the coliving industry.
If participants were unable to attend in person, they had the option to follow the event online. The technical team was on site in every room to film and direct the proceedings. Through a dedicated platform, people from all over the world could watch the livestream, participate interactively in discussions, and ask questions of the speakers. This made the Coliving Conference accessible to an even wider audience.
Table Tennis and Foosball
During the Happy, Hangry & Healthy lunch, participants had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with colleagues and fellow attendees. With the deluxe sandwiches, generously filled salads, and a delicious treat like apple crumble cake for dessert, everyone had plenty of energy for the rest of the afternoon. This was immediately evident from the intense games of table tennis and foosball played during the break in the lounge.
Award Ceremony
A highlight of the conference was undoubtedly the Coliving Awards ceremony, which honored the most remarkable achievements and innovative contributions to the sector. The awards served as a tribute to those who, with dedication and vision, have contributed to the growth of coliving worldwide.
After a day filled with informative sessions and inspiring conversations, the conference wrapped up with a cozy get-together featuring bitterballen at the bar in The Wiechert.
All in all, the Coliving Conference was an unprecedented success; they achieved their goal, and we’re working together to organize the next conference!
“Everything was well prepared and ready to go. On the day of the event, we were able to coordinate very quickly with the event manager. That was really great! We were running well ahead of schedule, so we wanted to move up our catering time. That wasn’t a problem at all. They were even able to arrange an extra drinks reception with snacks at the last minute. Awesome!!”
